Along with other emergency services including the Metropolitan Fire Service (MFS), the Country Fire Service (CFS), SA Police (SAPOL) and the State Emergency Service (SES), SA Ambulance Service plays a key role in managing major incidents such as heat waves, fires, hazardous material spills and major disasters.
SA Ambulance Service ensures emergency medical treatment is available on scene and works closely with other services to effectively manage major incidents.
